In 1900 five independent churches banding together for the purpose of mutual encouragement and mission. God has been faithful to His promise that His Word would accomplish its purpose (Is. 55:11). Today, The Church of the Lutheran Brethren has developed into networks of congregations ministering the Gospel in six nations. Followers of Jesus in Canada, Chad, Japan, Taiwan and The United States are still actively engaged in bringing the good news of the forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Christ to the peoples of the world.
